O Lord, I cannot see but one step ahead, and it scares me sometimes.

I cannot see what is around the bend, and when I look behind me, the way is shut.
I have no choice but to move forward,
but I am tempted to just sit this one out
I mean, what harm can it do, to do nothing, right?

I will wait for Your open door, and only then will I walk through it
For following You is not just about The Path, but about timing as well
Sometimes the door is closed, because the timing is not right.
So open the door in Your time, Lord, I will not force it open myself.
and so I stand at this closed door, looking for a way in,
but You are the Way, the Truth and the Life. So I will sit here
at Your feet, and wait with You, and I will listen Lord
I will just listen for You
and I will not move forward, until You Move call me forth.

I appreciate this also.I’m having a hard time moving forward in my life now also.My health keeps knocking me down & knocking me back.I was so sick for 3 weeks maybe 4 or 5 days relief and boom sick again.I guess I’m one of the Lord’s ladies in waiting.And I just need to trust & wait on Him to make a way for me.God bless you Carole.I’ll be praying for you.
