i miss You, God

I miss You, God.  the busyness of the Holidays has swept me away again.  I was determined not to let it happen this year, but it did.  Thank You for Your faithfulness, Dear God, and forgive me for my distractedness.  I love You, God.  Thank You that Your love never wavers, as mine does at times.  You promise to make me more like Your Son, Jesus.  I want that.  I want to learn to love as He loves, care as He cares, serve as he serves.  He washed the disciples feet, teach me to do the same.  He went away often alone to pray and spend time with You, Father.  Help me to do he same.  He spoke the Words You gave Him, went where you told Him to go, healed whoever You showed Him to heal.  He obeyed You perfectly.  He loved You perfectly.  He served all humanity with all He is and all He had, and He died to save those who would believe.  I believe in Him, Father.  He is, You are everything to me.  Forgive my wandering mind and draw me deeper into You this coming Year.  Thank You for all You are, all You do and for loving us who are Your own.  Amen!!!

AMEN AND AMEN. I too was thanking god this morning for His Faithfulness. Love the painting – it is one of my favorites. The Star on one side and the cross on the other. Sort of like our lives sometimes. The shiny moments and the sad moments. He is in control of all of them.,

How is the car repair coming along?
