When I walk at My Bay, I feel the peace of God just saturate all of my being. The gentle rhythm of the tiny waves breaking onshore. There is a peace that passes understanding talked about in God’s Word
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7
When I walk at the Ocean, the waves crash and roar, this reminds me of God’s power. But when I walk at the Bay, I sense God’s constancy, His trustworthiness, His faithfulness. God speaks to us so often in whispers, not shouts. He shouts when He has to, but I think He’d rather whisper. Won’t we quiet ourselves before Him and listen as He speaks to us from His Word. I have reasons to be scared today, but instead, I walk by My Bay and listen to the reminders of God’s constancy, of God’s peace that passes understanding. I listen, I walk, I breathe, I wait, and I believe Him. I have entered His rest, and His grace and love keep me there.
Thank you, Precious Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
