O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For You have worked wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness. (Isaiah 25:1)
There are Principles of Faith in Jesus Christ that I have always believed, and thought I had experienced before. Yet I found that the reality of these principles had only been experienced by me as mere shadows, until India. Yes, there will be people from every tongue, tribe and nation surrounding the Throne of God and praising the Lamb of God who was slain for us; but this is actually going on now, here, on the earth. And I had the amazing privilege and honor of singing and serving with some of these precious Fellow Heirs with Christ while I was in India.
There is the principle of there being no rich or poor, black or white, slave or free in the Body of Christ. When God looks out over His Body he doesn’t see a crowd, He sees every individual. God sees the Billions, and yet at the same time, He sees us all, one on one, intimately knowing us, sweetly calling to us, and inspiring our worship and praise. What we experience of the Body of Christ in our own individual places of Worship is just a taste of what the Body is all about. I experienced that in India too. These Beautiful People were so rich in love, fellowship and faith. The Unity bond between us was so apparent, you could almost hold it in your hands.
I feel I tasted Heaven while my feet still walked the earth. I was in a daze of wonder, and sometimes just a daze, because what I was experiencing was so different from what I had ever known before. I was overjoyed and humbled by God’s willingness to use me, and to let me experience His love and power in this strange and wonderful land. I feel my heart was stretched to twice the size it used to be, so I could hold more love, for more of God’s people, my brothers and sisters in India. Thank you, God for this life altering experience of Your love which extends to all peoples, nations, and languages. A little Taste of Heaven, worshipping with His people both here, and in a foreign land. For there will be no foreign lands in Heaven and we shall all be One Bride of Christ. This is what Jesus saw when he was dying on the Cross…Us, His Body. We are the Joy that was Set before Him as He endured the Cross, O Shout Hallelujah!!!
Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
