From Life to Life

Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me. The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime; And His song will be with me in the night, A prayer to the God of my life. (Psalm 42:7-8)

It has been a tough row to hoe lately.  I was reading from the Psalms, out loud, to my husband, when I came across this Beautiful Gem from the Word of God.  As soon as I read it, His voice seemed to whisper to me, “Carole, do you see how I am called “the God of my life,” by David?  Well, I am the God of your life too.  I am not called, “The God of your death,” because you will not experience death.  You will pass from Life to Life.”   How encouraging right?  Those of us who trust God will close our eyes here on earth and open them immediately in Heaven with our Beloved God.  Those whom we leave behind will experience our death, our absence, so to speak.  But we will go from Life to Life.  Such is the Legacy of those who trust Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.   If you have not trusted this Precious, Wonderful God, today is your day to pass from death to life.  He has transferred those who believe in Him from the Kingdom of Darkness to His Kingdom of Light and Life.  Trust Him this Day, dear One.  Our lives are never easy, whether we trust Jesus or not.  But when we do trust Him, our lives are filled with His peace, His joy and His rest.  Let Him carry you from Life to Life at the end of your Days too.  Trust Jesus today.
