Thank you, God, for My Beloveds.

³ I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, ⁴ always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all. (Philippians 1:3a NASB) I love our little small group.  We met again last night and it was so wonderful.  We are going through the study, Experiencing God, by Henry Blackaby.  Ever been within a small group of people and just realized, “Wow! It is so obvious that God caused our lives to intersect.”  This is one of those groups.  We just “gel” so well together.  Last night, we added a time of prayer for our children.  It was Beautiful and precious.  I don’t thank God enough for the precious people He, most definitely, brings together in my life.  Paul was always thanking God for these people in his life.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world. (Romans 1:8 NASB)
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. ⁴ I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus. (1Corinthians 1:3-4 NASB)
¹⁵ For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, ¹⁶ do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; ¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. (Ephesians 1:15-17 NASB)

And the list could go on and on. Join me in taking the time to thank God, following Paul’s example, for all the wonderful people He has brought into your life over the years.  Perhaps it’s harder for you to think of a list, because you have had some difficult relationships to deal with.  I have too, but close your eyes and think hard.  They are there, God will show you.

Thank You God, for my best friend, Debbie, of almost 35 years.  Thank You for my Wonderful Mom and Dad, they were not perfect parents, but they were wonderful.  Thank you for my 3 Sisters, and especially Chris, the one close by, who I can see often. Thank you for My Precious Church Family, where you have knit my soul with those of others there.  Thank you for my Small Group, and their precious kindness and love.  Thank You for the Most Beautiful Husband ever to live. Thank you for the three most amazing children ever.  My life is full of love, because of You, God! I have prayed and You have worked all things together for my good and Your Glory. My heart just overflows with thankfulness and joy this morning, as all those precious faces come to mind. Some who are no longer in my life, but still precious, as I remember them. Thank You , God, for My Beloveds.
