Send out Your light and Your truth, they shall lead me.
They shall bring me to Your holy hill and to Your dwelling places.
Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy.
And I will praise You on the lyre, God, my God.
Why are you in despair, my soul? And why are you restless within me?
Wait for God, for I will again praise Him. For the help of His presence, my God.

Light to lead the way. Truth to bring clarity of mind and soul. Lord, I truly see only one step at a time. I am holding Your Hand and will not let go. Your light shines in the darkness both within and around me. Your truth penetrates to the deepest level of my being. You can be relied on to always speak truth to me, even if it’s hard for me to hear it sometimes. I have come to know and have believed the love you have for me.
We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
(1 John 4:16)
O God, why does my spirit wander in dry and weary lands? Why do I look to anything else but You? Why do I seem to have such a distracted heart? Ground me in Your love. Ground me in Your Word. Ground me in Your Hope and let me know the Joy of Your Salvation deep within my innermost being, deep within my heart and mind and soul.
I want to love You more and more, to know You deeper and Deeper. I waste so much time just scrolling through life instead of seeking You, My First Love, My exceeding Joy, My Hope and crown. Bring me closer to You, Dearest King, closer to You, Dearest Lord. I love you so little compared to Your love for me. Increase my Love for You, Dearest God and guide my weary, distracted, wandering heart to You. Amen and Amen!
