Been on vacation for over a week. Just got back two days ago. It’s so great to get away, but I so appreciate having a home to come back to. The Hope of heaven is like that. Not a place to come back to, but the assurance of a home in heaven for me. One of the things that my husband and I were looking forward to when we got back home was going back to our church. We are in such a precious and beautiful part of the Body of Christ, Yesterday’s worship time was so sweet and nourishing, like a cool glass of lemonade on a very hot day. We just drank it in and bathed in the kindness of our fellow believers in Christ.
When I returned home I needed to tend to my now overgrown garden. In the sweltering 97 degree heat, some of my flowers had flourished and some had faded away. There were a few in particular that had grown so tall, they were now top heavy and tipped over, I gently tucked them bask into the midst of the other flowers. Their flowers gave them support and allowed them to be seen in all their splendor and glory.
That is what the Body of Christ ls supposed to be. We are tucked into the midst of people who support us, and whom we support. There together we bloom well and glorify our King and savior in all our different colors, shapes and fragrances. There is nothing more beautiful than a Wildflower Garden. All the colors blend into a tapestry of amazing beauty.
“Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren (believers) to dwell together in unity.”
Psalm 133:1
Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
