Hope renewed
By: Elora C. Seniah (aka) Carole L. Haines
Hope is written across Natures’ face
As we yield to her alluring grace
As the Sun is setting behind our backs
The Moon is rising before our eyes
As the winter is loosening her icy grip
The first flowers bravely pierce the snow
Ocean waves come boldly in,
over and over and over again
Kissing the shore with it’s rhythmic chant
And we lose ourselves in there silent dance
Flowers die as new ones grow
Both things happening without a woe
In Autumn’s glory, true colors of trees
As they die to their coats of summer green
And a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies
As it is buried deep, new lives arise
And life begins all over again
So it is with you and me, my friend
Times pass by, seasons and Suns
We lose them all one by one
But in a Kingdom where we count losses gain
the first are last and joy remains
We find a Hope that never dies
Hope is a person named Jesus Christ
and even as our hope seems to fade
He renews our Spirt with love and Grace
So when life turns hard and faith fades to blue
We rest in the arms of our Hope Renewed
we rest in the arms of Christ
I LIKE TO REMEMBER THE MEANING I LEARNED ABOUT HOPE —-CONFIDENT EXPECTATION
