I had to do something very difficult just yesterday. I had to wipe the memory from my computer clean and reboot it. I shouldn’t say, “I had to do it,” because my husband did it for me. I am not knowledgeable enough to navigate this task, or at least I was afraid I would really mess things us. It was scary, like walking through a field of unseen cyber landmines. I had just allowed way too much stuff to seep into the memory of my computer and it was soooooooooooooo slow. I’m sure a lot of you can relate to this. My husband and I chose to side-step the whole “clean PC” route after they tried to sell us way more than we needed. We stored all we wanted on my computer passport and then wiped that PC clean, baby! it was scary and slow. We had never done this before. But when it was done, I was able to start fresh, clean slate, Wonderful!
I couldn’t help but be reminded of How our Precious Lord Jesus wipes our slate clean, when we trust in His finished work on the cross. God tells us, Isaiah 1:18
Hope of Relief in God’s Mercy
19 Remember my affliction and my wandering, the wormwood and bitterness.
20 Surely my soul remembers
And is bowed down within me.
21 This I recall to my mind,
Therefore I have hope.
22 The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I have hope in Him.”
25 The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
To the person who seeks Him.
26 It is good that he waits silently
For the salvation of the Lord.”
Lamentations 3:19-26
