26 Now above the expanse that was over their heads there was something resembling a throne, like lapis lazuli in appearance;
and on that which resembled a throne, high up, was a figure with the appearance of a man.
27 Then I noticed from the appearance of His loins and upward something like glowing metal that looked like fire all around within it, and from the appearance of His loins and downward I saw something like fire; and there was a radiance around Him. 28 As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance.
Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking. (Ezekiel 1)
Your Beauty, Lord is beyond our ability to imagine. But I so desire to see You. I thank You that I can appear before Your throne boldly, without fear, because of Christ, My Savior.
16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4)
Your Perfect Grace and Mercy is beyond our ability to comprehend, so deep is the Love of God. Yet I so desire to dive into its depths and linger there, basking in the goodness of God until my fingers prune and my toes wrinkle. I have missed You, Dearest God, in the busyness of life, and I hear You calling me out. Calling me Higher, drawing me deeper than I have ever known You before. I come Lord God, and give You all the things that hinder me, entangle me and lure me away from You.
“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12)
I come Lord God. I hear You and I come to You this Day to sit and listen, to seek and find, to bask in the Glory of Your Mercy, Grace, Love and Kindness. Fill me up so much that I glow as Moses did when He ventured out after sitting before You. May I be the hand of kindness someone needs today, the voice of mercy to a broken spirit. May I be a light leading many souls to You. You are my All, my Reason, my Purpose. I lay myself before You today as an offering of Thanksgiving for all You have done for me in my life. Amen and Amen!!!!
