For strong is he who carries out His word. (Joel 2:11b NASB)

We cry out to the Lord for strength, yet we feel our prayers go unanswered sometimes.  Could it be that there is some area in our life where we have not been obedient to carry out His Word?  Is there someone who needs our forgiveness?  Is there someone we need to apologize to, and ask forgiveness from?  It doesn’t matter how much time goes by, God cares deeply about relationships.  Time most certainly DOES NOT heal all wounds.  Forgiveness, kindness and humility do, and these are the stepping stones that pave the path with God’s healing grace.  We’ve heard it said that God makes a way where there seems to be no way.  Yes, He does, but we have to walk the path.  Have a lot of brambles or thistles overgrown any paths within relationships in your life, past or present?  Ask God to show you how and when to make things right?  It is our call to be in unity with one another, and Jesus gets all the glory when we are unified. When you carry out His Word, you may find that long sought after strength you’ve been yearning for. Don’t wait another moment, carry out His Word today. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. (Romans 12:18 NASB)
