The Cure for Helplessness

I will praise the Lord at all times, I will constantly speak His praises

I will boast only in the Lord.  Let all who are helpless take heart.

Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness.  Let us exalt His name together.

I prayed and He answered me,  He freed me from all my fears.

Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy.

No Shadow of Shame will darken their faces.”

Psalm 34:1-5

God, you have truly been there all along.  You have picked me up and carried me through the darkest times.  I have come to You for safety and protection.  You have always been my protector.  When I have gone astray, like a little lost lamb, You have come to my rescue.  Such love is unfathomable.  There is such freedom and delight in being Yours.  I have a family, it is the Body of Christ.  I have a home, it is in You.  I am loved, I am forgiven, I am full of joy.  And all of this, God, is because of You.  I am who I am because You are who You are.  Thank You my blessed Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Amen and Amen
